Open your heart to a dog in need. When you adopt through Journey Home Rescue Alliance, we're here to support you every step of the way.
We believe in providing adopters with the healthiest pup possible. As part of our adoption process, we cover all core vaccines and any necessary medical care (even after adoption if it wasn't done prior due to the pet's age or the timing of vaccines). To make things even easier, one of our vet techs will come to your home to administer any remaining vaccines.
OUR ADOPTION FEE COVERS:
Microchipped with Fi Nano chips (unless shelter chipped prior)
3-4 DHPP Vaccines for puppies / 1-2 for adults
Bordetella Vaccine (boostered as needed)
Rabies vaccine
Heartworm test (if of age)
Heartworm treated IF they are positive while in our care. If the dog is not negative in 9 months after treatment, we will cover the retreatment
Dewormer on intake and management of GI tract during foster period
Nexgard Plus (monthly)
Fortiflora on intake into rescue for a week
Spay or neutered
Intake exam by a licensed veterinarian
Option for an adoption exam by a licensed veterinarian for your peace of mind that the pup is healthy
